IN THIS MOMENT

Isn’t it time to take the time to hear the voice that’s calling?
Hidden behind the armoured smile, the fears your life is falling
Short of the mark, this side of the line, you’re failing on those promises you made.
When you were young, your days were new, adventure just begun.

Isn’t it time to take the time to really feel what’s hurting?
Looking inside to lift the veil, draw back the curtain,
Cut the ties, loosen the binds to all you took for certain,
Those thoughts you believed to be true,
That proved you right, gave you your place in the world.

In this moment, there is a clearing,
A little space in the rhythm of your breathing,
Where your heart lies waiting for you to come home.

Isn’t it time to take the time to come to your senses?
Breath against skin, feet on the ground, feel your life expressing,
Mind refuses to be still, notice how your thoughts are pressing
They pull you in and pin you down.

In this moment, there is a clearing,
A little space in the rhythm of your breathing,
Where your heart lies waiting for you to come home.

Isn’t it time to take the time for the deepest listening?
Can you hear that song faint against the noise, it’s your own voice singing.
It’s time to stand back and make way for loves intervention.
To bring you peace, to soothe your soul, ease your mind and heal your pain,
And set you free as it brings you home again.

In this moment, there is a clearing,
A little space in the rhythm of your breathing
Look carefully into this opening,
There’s no defending, and no promoting,
No pretending, no controlling,
No condemning, no atoning,
Just a moment of accepting
That I am present and I’m connecting.

In this moment, there is a clearing,
A little space in the rhythm of your breathing,
Where your heart lies waiting for you to come home.
